Brooklyn Nets projected to take Bobi Klintman with 21st overall pick in 2023 NBA Draft

As the Brooklyn Nets, and the rest of the league, prepare for the 2023 NBA Draft, there have been numerous mock drafts that have come out to give some indication of where players are going and where teams are leaning. In Bleacher Report‘s latest mock draft, the Nets are projected to take Wake Forest freshman forward Bobi Klintman with the 21st overall pick.

Klintman, a 6’10” 225-pound forward from Malmo, Sweden went to Wake Forest after becoming one of the higher rated forwards in the country after attending Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas. At Wake Forest, Klintman played in 33 games, but only started in five contests that came towards the end of the season.

As of right now, what Klintman brings to the table for any team that drafts him is a smooth outside shot accompanied by fluid mechanics and the potential to be a versatile defender at the next level. However, some of his more glaring weaknesses are strength (specifically finishing at the rim) and being consistent on the defensive end of the floor.

If Klintman is able to improve his three-point shot to make it more consistent, he can be a good fit next to center Nic Claxton in due time. Here is a video breakdown of Klintman’s tape by Adam Spinella:
