Brooklyn Nets hold steady in latest Rookie Wire power rankings

The Brooklyn Nets put some wins on the board in the past week, but the uncertainty surrounding the franchise remains.

Ben Simmons returned to the team on Monday night in Dallas, but Luka Doncic’s brilliant run to start the year continued as he scored 36 points in a 96-94 win.

In Cody Taylor’s latest NBA power rankings over at Rookie Wire, he ranked the Nets at No. 15 in the league.

Looking ahead, the Nets return home on Wednesday to take on the Knicks in a battle for New York, but then hit the road for a four-game West Coast swing, with games against the Clippers, Lakers, Kings and Blazers.

Via Rookie Wire:

“Steve Nash and the team parted ways, and Kyrie Irving was suspended for at least five games to cap an eventful week for the Nets. In the midst of the turmoil, Kevin Durant has stepped up to lead the team to three wins in its past four games.”
