Brook Hill soccer teams score road wins over Lakehill Prep

Feb. 16—DALLAS — Brook Hill won both ends of a district doubleheader against Lakehill Prep Thursday in Dallas.

The Lady Guard (16-3-1, 9-0) edged Lakehill, 2-1, while the Guard steamrolled the Warriors, 6-0.

Riley-Jo McCord and Scarlett Kerr accounted for the Lady Guard goals, with Hadleight Clark earning as assist.

Ifedayo Abegunde recorded a trio of saves and was the winning goal keeper.

Alejandro Martinez produced a hat trick for the Guard, while Mio Engqvist booted in a pair of scores and Johnmarc Orrico added a lone goal.

Marlon Rataj, Engqvist, Joash Kondru, Lucas Chade and Asa Kerr had an assist each for Brook Hill.

Christian Pous and Luke Visser tallied five and two saves each, respectfully to get the combined clean sheet triumph.

Brook Hill will travel to Carrollton-Prince of Peace Monday. The girls match will get under way at 5 p.m., followed by the boys.
