The Denver Broncos have released their list of inactive players for Sunday’s game against the Washington Football Team.

Denver OLB Von Miller (ankle), DL Mike Purcell (thumb) and DB Jamar Johnson (quad) will be held out of Sunday’s game with injuries.

Miller’s situation is interesting because the NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, causing speculation about the reason for him being held out. Jonathon Cooper and newly acquired edge defender Stephen Weatherly are the candidates to start in Miller’s place.

DeShawn Williams will start in Purcell’s place. Johnson has been inactive for every game this season.

Healthy scratches: 3

QB Brett Rypien, DB Kary Vincent and WR Diontae Spencer are healthy scratches this week. Rypien and Vincent have been inactive for most games this season. Spencer is a surprise scratch. He did not appear on Friday’s injury report.
