Breyers Has a Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate Ice Cream That’s the Definition of Winter Dessert

It’s that time of year when brands start bringing back their beloved seasonal flavors to enjoy through the holiday season. Two years ago, Breyers released its Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate flavor and, spoiler, it was a hit. Better check your local freezer aisle STAT, because a PR rep confirmed to Best Products that the limited-edition flavor is back!
The frozen dessert consists of rich cocoa and peppermint ice creams that are combined with swirls of real peppermint extract. In previous years, people have said that the mint isn’t too strong of a flavor, thanks to the rich dark chocolate that helps balance it out. It looks like we know what treat we’re going to enjoy this Christmas!
Remember, since this is a limited-edition flavor, it’ll only be in stores for so long. Something tells us you won’t want to miss picking up a 1.5-quart container (or two) to eat while staying in and watching Christmas movies.

The flavors of winter are upon us, and peppermint and hot chocolate are at the top of our list. Breyers has released a new ice cream that couldn’t be more appropriate for the season.
Frozen Peppermint Hot Chocolate is a limited-edition flavor gracing the frozen aisle for the holidays. The container is filled with dark chocolate and peppermint ice cream mixed with chocolate chips. It’s made with rich cocoa and peppermint, as described on the packaging.
Breyers has yet to announce the new flavor, but Instagram accounts @snackstalker and @theimpulsivebuy have posted photos of the ice cream, seen at Walmart for $3.98. If you’re ready to dive into the holiday season, combining peppermint and hot chocolate in one treat seems like a good place to start.
