Braves soccer ranked 7th in NCAA Southeast Regional rankings

Nov. 3—PEMBROKE — The UNC Pembroke soccer team was ranked seventh in the second batch of NCAA Southeast Region rankings released earlier this week. The Braves are the only Conference Carolinas squad represented.

Lenoir-Rhyne is No. 1 in the rankings, followed by No. 2 Catawba, No. 3 North Georgia, No. 4 Flagler, No. 5 Wingate, No. 6 Columbus State, No. 8 Anderson, No. 9 Lander and No. 10 Carson-Newman.

The Black & Gold are off for another week as the result of earning the top seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament. The Braves will play the winner of fourth-seeded Barton and fifth-seeded Mount Olive next Friday at 4:30 p.m. The semifinal and championship matches are being played in Browns Summit at the Truist Soccer Complex at Bryan Park.
