If you tweet out a bold prediction for your favorite team, you'd better be willing to put your money where your mouth is.
That was the case for Golden State Warriors fan Austin and Toronto Raptors fan Angee, who both tweeted that they would get tattoos for their team if they made it to the NBA Finals.
Spoiler alert: they both did. And ESPN took notice of Austin and Angee's bets.
ESPN flew both fans out to New York to get inked by legendary tattoo artist Bang Bang, who has worked with athletes including LeBron James and Odell Beckham Jr.
Austin, in particular, made a daring choice with his ink: Stephen Curry's number 30 combined with the phrase "3-peat." As we all know now, the Warriors couldn't pull it off, falling to the Raptors in Game 6 on Thursday night. The three-peat is no more – but that tattoo is forever.
