Braeden Wisloski just finished his official visit to Rutgers football, with the Pennsylvania running back forming a better relationship with the Big Ten program.
A running back recruit, Wisloski plays for Southern Columbia High School, a small school in Catawisssa, PA. The size of Southern Columbia’s student body is reportedly under 400.
Wisloski was offered by Rutgers in early April. A three-star recruit, he is ranked the No. 25 recruit in Pennsylvania by Rivals. He holds Power Five offers from Maryland, Syracuse and Rutgers.
The visit this week seems to have been a productive one for Wisloski in terms of understanding the Rutgers football program as a whole and getting to know the staff a bit more.
“It was great, I had an amazing time with the players and coaches and got to see what Rutgers is like,” Wisloski told RutgersWire on Wednesday morning.
Wisloski is perhaps criminally under-rated in the recruit rankings, his tape and film popping out. Wisloski showed some serious speed on film, not a shock given that he is a track star.
If he played for a bigger program, Wisloski would likely have double-digit Power Five offers.
“The facilities were amazing,” Wisloski said. “And I got to see the coaches coach and the way they coached stood out to me and the way practice was run too.”
Up next for Wisloski is an official visit to Maryland.
A decision is likely coming after that.
“I’m thinking to make a decision after that visit,” Wisloski said.
