Boys basketball roundup: CMCS Bluejays cruise past RCW Jaguars, 93-46

Jan. 15—PRINSBURG — The Central Minnesota Christian boys basketball team used a big first half to cruise past Renville County West on Monday night.

The Bluejays beat the Jaguars 93-46 after piling up a 61-24 halftime lead in the Camden Conference game

Drew Duininck led CMCS with 25 points and six assists. Asher Wieberdink had 22 points and nine rebounds and Nathan Wieberdink chipped in with 10 points, eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Logan Roelofs had 15 rebounds.

For RCW, Ryan Schrupp had 13 points. Jon Driggs had eight rebounds and a blocked shot.

CMCS next plays at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Minneota. RCW plays BOLD at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Renville.

Isaac Post had 22 points and six assists, Jordan Warne added 19 points and two blocks and Grayson Ahrenholz scored 14 points in its victory at St. Cloud Cathedral.

MACCRAY next plays at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Canby.

Jaxon Libby had 25 points to lead Immanuel Lutheran past Community Christian School of Willmar in a Christian Athletic League game at Mankato.

David Mulder had 20 points and three steals for the Eagles.

CCS' next varsity game is 6:30 p.m. Monday at Lake Region Christian in Baxter.

Morris/Chokio-Alberta improved its record to 9-3 with the victory over Benson at Morris.

The Braves are now 5-7.

Benson is host to Lac qui Parle Valley at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
