Boys basketball: Balanced CMCS Bluejays bounce Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles

Jan. 21—PRINSBURG — Four scorers in double figures helped pace Central Minnesota Christian School to a boys basketball victory Saturday over Southwest Minnesota Christian.

CMCS won the Section 3A cross-over matchup, 62-52 in front of a packed gym for Alumni Day.

Drew Duininck led the Bluejays with 16 points and five steals. Eli Gerdes scored 15 points. Nathan Wieberdink had 11 points and a team-high 12 rebounds. Micah Asake added 11 points and tied Duininck and Asher Wieberdink for a team-best three steals.

CMCS plays host to Yellow Medicine East at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Prinsburg.
