BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN: Stat leaders from Alabama’s 72-49 win over Mississippi State in SEC Tournament
After going through a bit of a shooting slump over the past couple of weeks, the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team began to find its shooting stroke in Nashville as they take down Mississippi State 72-49 in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament.
Alabama was not lethal from behind the arc against the Bulldogs, but the Tide did go 13-37 from three for a solid 35.1%.
Alabama’s ball movement was critical in getting a flurry of open looks against one of the best defensive teams in the nation. As a team, Alabama finished with 21 assists and just seven turnovers.
