BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN: Stat leaders from Alabama’s 78-76 win over South Carolina

A collective sigh of relief came from Alabama basketball fans late Wednesday night as the No. 2 Crimson Tide held off the South Carolina Gamecocks 78-76 in overtime.

Alabama (24-4, 14-1 SEC) avoided the disastrous upset with a spectacular performance from freshman sensation Brandon Miller.

Miller dropped 41 points (career high) in 43 minutes of action Wednesday night, scoring more points than the rest of the Alabama team combined.

Miller was also clutch for the Tide making the shot to send the game to overtime and then also hitting the game-winner with less than a second remaining in overtime.
