In the second half of their 2021-22 campaign, the Boston Celtics came out of nowhere to become the best team in the league, but they face a much tougher Eastern Conference landscape heading into the 2022-23 NBA season.

With the Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets being potential contenders should they play to their potential and the Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors looking like tough outs in the 2023 NBA playoffs, winning the East once again may not prove so easy.

The hosts of the ESPN “First Take” show recently debated this among several questions.
