Do the Boston Celtics need Robert Williams III to be a title contender? It was not that long ago that the consensus was that the Celtics needed Timelord in top form to truly be a contender for the 2023 NBA Championship. But after a nine-game winning streak fueled by Most Valuable Player-caliber play out of star Boston forward Jayson Tatum, that conventional wisdom might not be so widely shared.

This is not to say that the Celtics ought to trade Timelord or anything like that, but the question of just how good Boston can get with the best record in the league already in hand.
