Move over turnover chain and turnover beads. Boise State has a throne.

The Broncos unveiled the turnover throne on Saturday night against Troy. Yes, it’s a fancy chair located between the benches. It traveled all the way from Boise to Troy, Alabama, for the game.

That’s cornerback Tyler Horton celebrating in the GIF above. Here’s a better look at the throne. It got sat in four times as Boise State forced four turnovers.

The Broncos got their 2018 campaign started off right with a 56-20 demolition of the Trojans. Quarterback Brett Rypien threw for more than 300 yards and four touchdown passes.

Boise State looks poised to be the best team outside of the Power Five conferences in 2018 and plays UConn in Week 2 before a big game in Week 3 vs. Oklahoma State.

Thursday night, Tulane broke out the turnover beads after getting a turnover. The beads and throne are the latest ways that teams are trying to capitalize on Miami’s turnover chain. Or, maybe, capitalize on the Tennessee turnover trash can that was a very brief thing in 2017.
