The Capitals have dropped out of first place this week after going 1-2-0 and have been replaced by the St. Louis Blues. Washington actually slipped to third with Boston jumping ahead of them as well.

This week, I used hockey-reference.com to determine each team’s chances of making the playoffs. St. Louis is tops at 99.6 percent while Detroit has a zero percent chance of making the post-season.
