Blue Jays recall Sean Reid-Foley, option Jordan Romano to Triple-A Buffalo
The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled pitcher Sean Reid-Foley and optioned Jordan Romano to Triple-A Buffalo.
Reid-Foley’s lone major league start went poorly, surrendering three earned runs, two walks and four hits in two innings during a 6-5 loss to the Baltimore Orioles.

The 23-year-old made 13 starts with triple-A Buffalo, posting a 5.87 E.R.A. with 77 strikeouts against 51 walks in 69 innings.
Romano, a native of Markham, Ontario, made his major-league debut on June 12 in a victory over the Orioles. He allowed three runs in five innings during his stint with the Blue Jays.
