Should we be suspicious of Colts sideline personnel?

Deflategate has been beaten to death. But the actions of one Colts sideline employee seemed to have resurrected it, at least for Pats fans.

A video has surfaced that shows personnel on the Indy sideline quickly recovering an incomplete Andrew Luck pass against the Bills last weekend. It would seem innocuous enough, but there a number of un-answered questions that Patriots faithful could present.

Why was this person in such a rush to recover an incomplete pass on a third down and long, so early in the game? Why is an unidentified person corralling the ball and not the ball boy, who is clearly marked with an orange vest?

Maybe the Colts believe that their sideline would be the last place the NFL would look for a doctored football. Maybe they were rushing to get the ball back into play for their new “quick punt” formation. Or, most likely, it’s nothing.
