The start of NFL free agency has been a busy time, both for front offices and the media. But lets not forget about the players, who have taken to social media with all sorts of interesting observations. Like former Detroit Lion Justin Durant for instance, who hasn't found a new deal yet so he Tweeted a picture of a Chick-fil-A application with his name on it saying "Couldn't even get a sammich, jus asked for a cup of water and an application, LOL."
Former Arizona Cardianls running back Beanie Wells had a physical with the Steelers this week and posted this bizarre yet adorable Tweet, "Moms got me some nice clothes laid out on the bed like it's the first day of school. LOL. Bout to make this hour and a half drive to Pittsburgh."
Then there's the Jets' Darrelle Revis, who while he waits to see if New York is going to trade him or give him more money, posted a photo of himself hanging out in France. Hmmm, how do you say "more money please" in French?
In the NBA, the Spurs were looking to sweep their season series with the Mavericks. Tim Duncan helped the cause with a big 28 point, 19 rebound night. The youngster Kawhi Leonard pitched in 12 points as well and San Antonio held on to win, 92-91.
