Joey Votto impersonates Tiger Woods

Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto is one of the best pure hitters in baseball. So the display the 2010 National League Most Valuable Player put on during batting practice before Monday night's game against the Colorado Rockies should come as no surprise.

Remember that old Nike commercial where Tiger Woods bounces a golf ball on his wedge? That's pretty much what Votto did with his bat and a baseball. He even used his cap in the unique juggling act. The only thing that threw Votto off was when Aroldis Chapman approached him. As for the game, Votto went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts but Cincy blanked Colorado 3-0.

Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals saw LeBron James score a game-high 32 points and pull down 8 rebounds as the Miami Heat dominated the Indiana Pacers after the first quarter to win 99-76. James still has the highest career points per game mark in Game 7 history, holding off Michael Jordan by a mere tenth of a point: 33.8 to 33.7. Game 1 of the NBA Finals is Thursday against the well-rested San Antonio Spurs.
