College Wrestler Tosses Second Place Medal

The University of Iowa Wrestling team has a long history of success, which is why what senior Matt McDonough did after finishing second at the Big 10 Championships isn't a total shock.
The 125-pounder lost to Illinois sophomore Jesse DelGado in the finals, and proceeded to throw his second place prize right into the trash. Sam Louwagie of the Daily Iowan posted a photo of it on Twitter along with the Tweet "This is the second place 125 pound Big Ten trophy. We found it in the trash."
In a match-up of the NBA western conferences two best teams, the San Antonio Spurs used a balance attack and great ball movement to hold the Oklahoma City Thunder, 105-93. The Spurs will stay a full two games ahead of the Thunder in the standings.
