Take advantage of these under-valued fantasy sleepers in Week 14

It’s put up or shut up time, fanatics. With championship aspirations on the line, nervous owners across Fantasyland are facing difficult lineup dilemmas. My best piece of advice: Maximize the matchup. Here are three under-started commodities who’ll do exactly that in Week 14 and extend your season:

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ten, QB – Most in the fantasy community are pogonophobes – they fear beards. It’s nutty to think Fitz is available in 90-percent of Yahoo leagues. He’s exceeded 20 fantasy points in four of his past six contests. Likely pressed into a high-volume situation against a Broncos D that’s allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to QBs, he should finish inside the top-10 once again.

Montee Ball, Den, RB – Knowshon Moreno is the unrivaled starter in Denver, but Ball should again tote a 14-16 touch load in the Mile High meat-locker. Game time temps are expected to be in the teens which means Peyton Manning, who has admitted he has difficulty gripping the ball in cold weather, could be relegated to more of a managerial role, especially against an unyielding Tennessee secondary. Roughly 75-85 total yards and a TD are in store for the rookie.

Jacoby Jones, Bal, WR – Sunk by injuries and ineptitude, the Vikings are beyond awful in downfield coverage. Over the past five weeks, they’ve conceded the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. Jones has a limited route tree, but his big-play ability should lead him to total WR3-worthy numbers in Week 14. Deep leaguers with sketchy options should strongly consider his services.
