Rafael Nadal visited Buddhist monks at a beach in the Prachuab province near Bangkok this weekend and before presenting an offering of food, the world No. 1 knelt with them in prayer.
After Wimbledon, Nadal infamously expressed his doubts about the existance of God and caused a small firestorm about what was on- and off-limits to discuss with an athlete. Regardless of his personal beliefs, he now seems to have an in with these Buddhist monks. So he's got that goin' for him, which is nice.
