The rain is back at Wimbledon. After two years of relatively dry conditions at the All England Club, the usual London dreariness returned on Wednesday, delaying play for the second time this week.
Venus Williams and Kimiko Date-Krumm were able to begin their match under the roof of Centre Court, while the outdoor matches were all delayed because of the driving downpours. As of 10 a.m. ET, blue skies returned to Wimbledon and play was expected to continue through the rest of the afternoon.
