When the United States and Mexico meet on Oct. 10 for the CONCACAF Cup – the one-game playoff that will decide the region's representative at the 2017 Confederation Cup – one thing both teams can confidently say is that they were well-prepared.

Because neither team is playing a cupcake in their final friendly before their showdown in Pasadena.

The U.S. and Mexico each face South American powers on Tuesday. The Americans take on five-time world champion Brazil at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. (8:40 p.m. ET kickoff), while El Tri try to stop Lionel Messi and Argentina in Arlington, Texas (10 p.m. ET kickoff).
