RIO DE JANEIRO — As if England’s early exit from the World Cup wasn’t depressing enough, the Sao Paulo Museum of Art (Museu de Arte de São Paulo) decided to rub a little salt in the wound by offering those sad English fans free entrance to their museum.
Yes England, even Brazil has taken pity on you.
That’s a whooping savings of just under four British pounds.
One of the exhibits — and this couldn’t have worked out any better— is Sylvio Perlstein, whose works include this gem to the right, which is also highlighted on the museum’s website. Not saying it was on purpose, just an unlucky coincidence.

Taking in a little Brazilian culture is probably a better alternative to English fans using that money to drown their sorrows in a pint while they watch their team play a meaningless game against Costa Rica on Tuesday in Belo Horizonte, right?
