Have you ever wanted to watch people wearing expensive headphones for five minutes? Well thanks to Beats by Dre's big World Cup advertising campaign, you can. The film stars Neymar and a host of other footballers, including Daniel Sturridge, Mario Gotze, Jozy Altidore, Luis Suarez, Chicharito, Sydney Leroux, Thierry Henry...and Rio Ferdinand as they pump up the portable jams while preparing themselves to do work.
This is apparently THE GAME BEFORE THE GAME, as the spot is titled. Cameos from random friends of Beats by Dre like Nicki Minaj, LeBron James, ESPN's Stuart Scott, Lil Wayne and Serena Williams are also sprinkled in as everyone prepares to be wowed by the World Cup.
The whole thing is along the same lines as Nike's massive World Cup ad, but, naturally, with more headphones.
Meanwhile, official World Cup sponsor McDonald's has put together a spot of their own, this featuring the juggling and trick-shot skills of everyday people of all ages and heel sizes.
