With Lionel Messi just coming back from a two-month injury layoff, Barcelona suffered another scare when Neymar had to come off in the 28th minute of their Copa del Rey match against Getafe after twisting his ankle in a way that ankles aren't supposed to twist. Neymar was attempting to save the ball from going over the endline after doing a stepover when he planted his foot awkwardly and lost his balance. The result wasn't pretty.

As bad as the injury looked, initials reports indicated that it was only a sprain and might not be that serious. Still, this kind of image involving their most important player is likely enough to terrify all of Brazil at the start of a World Cup year.

UPDATE: Barcelona's official website says Neymar will be out for three to four weeks.

Lionel Messi scored twice (including this beautiful solo run) in his first start since returning from injury, giving him a total of four goals over the two legs against Getafe to send Barcelona to the quarterfinals on a 6-0 aggregate score.
