NBC gives Ted Lasso a chance at punditry, which goes hilariously bad

In the build-up to the network's first season as the home of the Premier League in the U.S., NBC put together a brilliant video about American football coach Ted Lasso (played by Jason Sudeikis) taking charge at Spurs. Though Coach Lasso's tenure at the club didn't last very long, he made an impression on fans, who backed him for just about every managerial job that opened up last season.

A quick return to the Premier League wasn't meant to be for Coach Lasso, though. So NBC decided to give him a chance at being a part of their coverage. And as you can see in the video above, it went delightfully.

Highlights of the video include the name Lasso gave his new car, the Spurs shirt he has framed in his house, and a special cameo from Tim Howard.
