Though goalscoring isn't his primary function, Mesut Ozil gave his new club one more thing to gush about by scoring his first Arsenal goal in the 8th minute of their Champions League group-stage match against Napoli. This wasn't just a plain old tap in, though. This was wizard action.

Ozil didn't so much take a shot as he casually introduced the bouncing ball to the inspiration of his foot and allowed it to go just beyond the reach of Pepe Reina out of appreciation for the opportunity. It put Arsenal up 1-0 before Ozil then set up Giroud in the 15th minute to double the lead.

If Ozil keeps this up, Real Madrid will probably make a €200 million bid for him next summer.
