It took Real Madrid less than 30 seconds to score the opening goal in the biggest match ever since the last Clasico roughly 17 hours ago and a little more than an hour to lose that lead and the match as Barcelona ended up winning 3-1. The key to yet another victory? Rats on their plane.
Barca's plane was found to be plagued with rodents that had made their way into the aircraft from a hangar at Barajas and a fumigation squad was forced to work through the night to eradicate the problem, according to Cadena SER.
The flight was then delayed by half an hour due to fog, but Barca finally took off shortly after 11am CET and have now arrived in the Spanish capital.
Jose Mourinho will surely demand an investigation be launched to look into whether that fumigation was done by using an HGH gas. This also might explain why Alexis Sanchez kept falling down. Hallucinations of rats at your feet will cause anyone to lose their balance. I'm not sure how that excuses Angel Di Maria, though.
