Jose Mourinho put the Romanian interpreter through his paces with several long winded answers at his press conference ahead of Chelsea's Champions League group-stage finale against Steaua Bucharest. Mourinho sympathized with the man's plight since he himself got his start in football as a translator for Sir Bobby Robson at Sporting Lisbon and then Porto.
So, while reporters asked him questions, Mourinho took off his sweatshirt and autographed it before giving it to the interpreter as a gift at the end of the session. His act of goodwill was then rewarded by being informed that he would have to do Chelsea TV duty, which Jose didn't seem too pleased about.
