Exactly one week after winning his second Ballon d'Or, Cristiano Ronaldo was named Grand Officer of the Order of Prince Henry the Navigator in a ceremony at Portugal's Belem Palace. Ronaldo was awarded the medal by Portuguese President Anibal Cavaco Silva, who said the man who carried their national team to World Cup qualification deserved the honor because he ''brings prestige for Portugal around the world.''
Let's take a look at Ronaldo's latest special day...
"Wow, they even have a painting of me on the palace wall."
"This is my golden ball...and no, you can't keep it..."
"Please stop talking so I can gaze upon it in peace..."
"OK, I just got really nervous, so I'm going to do thumbs up. Thumbs up always makes things better. Just keep that thumb pointing towards the sky and nothing can go wrong. That's the power of thumbs..."
"Is this waterproof? It better be waterproof..."
"I'm doing a thumbs up with my mind."
