Cristiano Ronaldo and Pele both humbled on fancy plane in new Emirates ad

Cristiano Ronaldo and Pele (who is definitely not dead, no matter what CNN says) star in a clever new ad for Emirates Airline where both footballing greats get taken down a few notches at 30,000 feet.

The commercial takes place in the superfancy Emirates A380 onboard lounge (which really does look like that). Ronaldo emerges from the plane's first-class shower (also real) and stands at the bar reading a magazine article about himself while he overhears two fans whispering about how great he is. This delights him, naturally, and he smiles at the flight attendant/bartender as if to say, "Hahaha I'm so great."

But then Pele appears next to him and Ronaldo realizes it was him they were talking about all along. Pele laughs at the younger star. Another, younger fan appears and asks Ronaldo for a picture, handing his camera to a suddenly anonymous Pele. Ronaldo then concludes the series of events with a confident wink, which required absolutely no acting on his part whatsoever.

We can only hope that the next Emirates ad starring Ronaldo and Pele has them working together to solve a murder aboard the plane.
