Quickly dispelling any misguided concerns as to whether they could score goals without injured star Falcao, Colombia's Pablo Armero slotted a shot towards goal in the 8th minute that deflected off a defender for an early goal. As the overwhelmingly Colombian crowd made it sound like a home game, Armero then ran over to his bench and led a celebration that looked like a joyous rendition of The Isley Brothers' "Shout" without the music.
And that's how you start your first match of the 2014 World Cup. Unless you're Greece.
Colombia went on to score two more goals and win 3-0, though neither of the other celebrations quite matched that first one.
