Usually a clip like this includes a missed sitter or a goal from long-range, but as a special holiday bonus, this one includes both. Romanian side CFR Cluj put together the wacky highlight off of a corner kick when defender Vasile Maftei missed a golden opportunity to score on an empty net from two-yards out. Sageata Navodari managed to clear it back towards the midway line, where Cluj's Damjan Dokovic, the man who originally took the corner kick, noticed the the goalkeeper was off his line and decided to take a speculative and off balance shot.

The ball took a big hop over the keeper and ended up in the net, giving Cluj a 1-0 lead. So Maftei was off the hook for his painful miss and Dokovic proved that if you want something done, you might as well do it yourself. Even if you're 50 yards out.

This was just the beginning of the goalkeeper's nightmare, though. Cluj went on to win 6-1.
