Casillas celebrates with teary smooch on his reporter WAG

After Spain began its World Cup run with a 1-0 loss to Switzerland, the English media tried to push stories of goalkeeper and captain Iker Casillas' television reporter girlfriend Sara Carbonero being blamed for the defeat simply for being present. It turned out she really wasn't and she certainly isn't being blamed for anything now as Spain lifts the World Cup trophy for the first time.

In Carbonero's post-match interview with her emotional Golden Gloves-winning boyfriend, she tried to keep things professional, but Iker just couldn't resist diving in for a big kiss after thanking his parents, his brother, his friends and finally, Sara.

Everyone cheered as Casillas then walked away for further celebrations and Carbonero's cheeks turned redder than the Spanish flag facepaint on them. No word on if the camera crew broke into a rendition of the k-i-s-s-i-n-g song immediately after this.
