With Monta Ellis scoring 26 points, the Golden State Warriors took down the Phoenix Suns 106-104 Wednesday night and they mostly did it without the help of Stephen Curry for the whole second half.

In the first quarter, Curry strained a tendon in his right foot, the San Francisco Chronicle reports, and then returned in the second quarter after X-rays were negative.

When he went back into the game, there were only 18 seconds left in the half  and after trying to get open off the ball, was noticeably limping and shaking his head, CSN Bay Area reports. "He looked very frustrated as he walked off the floor for halftime."

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that "team doctors weren't sure if he had plantar fasciitis."
