Oklahoma's Mauro Cichero unleashes bicycle kick that rivals any prep goal ever

The weekly Oklahoma High School Sports Express television show made this tally its "Goal of the Night" on Tuesday, but it might just be the greatest goal ever scored in a high school soccer goal.

From a cross pass by his Norman (Okla.) North High teammate to a centering header from another Timberwolves teammate and a clearing header attempt by an Edmond (Okla.) Memorial defender, the ball never touched the ground until Mauro Cichero bicycle kicked it into the back of the net.

Cichero's goal snapped a 2-2 tie in the second overtime and delivered an early season win. His celebration, capped by a spinning finale usually reserved for "Dancing with the Stars," was amazing, too.

The state's returning Gatorade Boys Soccer Player of the Year, Cichero collected 22 goals and two assists as a junior last season, leading Norman North to the Class 6A state championship game. The 6-foot-3, 165-pound midfielder is considered one of the nation's top uncommitted prep seniors. And with golazos like this one, it's not all that difficult to figure out why top college programs are after him.
