Arkansas football commit caps perfect hoops regular season with vicious backboard-shattering dunk

With his team riding an undefeated record and the Class 2A postseason scheduled to begin this week, perhaps Junction City (Ark.) High junior JaMario Bell decided to end the regular season early.

The 6-foot-6, 230-pound big man threw down a vicious alley-oop that shattered the backboard with 4:09 left in the third quarter against Norphlet (Ark.). The dunk effectively completed a 20-0 regular season for the Dragons, as referees reportedly called the game in a 53-25 decision in their favor (h/t Big Lead).

It should come as no surprise that Bell is an Arkansas football commit. The state's second-ranked defensive end recruit in the Class of 2015, he played linebacker this past fall, also leading those Dragons to an undefeated season and the Class 2A state title. No word on whether he shattered the goal posts, too.
