What to watch on Thursday night

8:00 p.m. ET, NBC: The 110m hurdles go on without Liu Xiang. Cuba's Dayron Robles and America's David Payne and David Oliver will compete for gold without Liu in the field. The decathlon begins, and medals will be given out in the men's 400m, where Jeremy Wariner has his eye on Michael Johnson's record, and the women's 200m, with Jamaica's Veronica Campbell-Brown and America's Allyson Felix battling for gold.

10:00 p.m. ET, NBC: Laura Wilkinson of the U.S. tries to keep China from sweeping gold in diving, and Mexico's Paola Espinosa tries to add to the bronze she won in synchronized diving.

11:00 p.m. ET, NBC: The U.S. attempts to sweep the gold in beach volleyball as Todd Rogers and Phil Daulhasser take on Brazil's Marcio Araujo and Fabio Luiz Magalhaes, live* on NBC.
