Slovakia vs. Finland Olympic hockey bronze medal live blog

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Miikka Kiprusoff Redemption Tour kicks off in the bronze medal game of the 2010 Winter Olympics, as Finland faces Slovakia for the consolation prize.

Kiprusoff was last seen fumbling away a spot in the gold medal game to the Americans with one of the worst goaltending performances of the tournament.

The Finns face Slovakia, which played an incredible game against Canada for about nine minutes. The rest of the time, its offense was dominated by the Canadian forecheck, unable to generate much of anything.

Besides the bronze, tonight is noteworthy as potentially being the final Olympic appearance for Teemu Selanne of the Anaheim Ducks, who is currently the all-time leading scorer in Winter Games hockey history.
