Fog postpones biathlon event, venue workers build snow figures instead

It's a good idea to delay any sporting event when fog prevents competitors from seeing anything.

It's a doubly good idea when that event involves shooting a rifle.

Organizers postponed the men's 15-kilometer mass-start biathlon race on Sunday after fog enveloped the shooting range at Laura Cross-Country Ski and Biathlon Center. It has been rescheduled for Monday as France's Martin Fourcade goes for his third gold medal in Sochi and Norway's Ole Einar Bjoerndalen goes for a record 13th career medal at the Winter Games.

Until then, we'll have to admire this stray dog that some venue workers spent some time building on Sunday. Or maybe it's a lamb? Or a donkey? The fog is making it kind of hard to tell.
