Salavat Yulaev Ufa and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod are currently tied 2-2 in their KHL quarterfinal series. Behind goals from Igor Mirnov and Arturs Kulda, Ufa evened the series on Wednesday with a 4-2 victory. The day before, their march to tying things up began after a fortunate bounce.

Game 3 couldn't be decided in regulation so the teams went to overtime. Then another overtime. And then, in the third extra period, Ufa finally ended the game at 113:24 when Alexander Stepanov's shot went off goaltender Ivan Kasutin's mask and up in the air before dropping right in front of the goal line and bouncing into the net:

The cruelest thing is all five Torpedo players see the puck in the air and realize there's a pretty good chance that thing could drop in their crease and possibly go into the net. Give Roman Konkov (No. 19) credit, he made an attempt to swipe it away, but whiffed like Roger Dorn playing third base.

According to the KHL, the game was the second longest in league history, five minutes short of the record set by Lokomotiv and Severstal last season.
