Crawford was brilliant for the Blackhawks, making 34 saves as Chicago eliminated the Minnesota Wild in Game 6, 2-1. Crawford made 61 saves on 63 shots in the Blackhawks’ final two victories.
No. 2 Star: Henrik Lundqvist, New York Rangers
Lundqvist made 35 saves and shut down the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 7, as the Rangers advanced to the conference final with a 2-1 victory.
No. 3 Star: Patrick Kane, Chicago Blackhawks
More showtime for Kane, as a fortunate bounce off the boards led to his overtime game winner against the Wild.
Honorable mention: Brad Richards had the game-winner for the Rangers. Brian Boyle and Jussi Jokinen had the other goals in Game 7. … Kris Versteeg and Erik Haula had the goals in Game 6.
Dishonorable mention: The Penguins had 10 giveaways to the Rangers’ one. … Sidney Crosby didn’t tally a point in Games 6 and 7. … The Wild were 0-for-3 on the power play.
