San Jose Sharks get festive with 'Holiday Sweater' rap video

Over the next two weeks some NHL teams will get in the holiday spirit by releasing videos of players doing holiday-type things. But no team has been able to match the level of consistency that the San Jose Sharks have provided over the years.
You probably haven’t gotten the bad singing from their 2010 video out of your head yet. And remember their gift guide from 2011? Or recall Antti Niemi’s trouble with the mistletoe last year?
For 2014 the Sharks have gone the musical route again, this time with broadcasters Randy Hahn and Dan Rusanowsky, SJ Sharkie and players MC Matt Nieto, John Scott, Tomas Hertl, Mirco Mueller, Matt Irwin, Barclay Goodrow, Chris Tierney, Antti Niemi, Alex Stalock, James Sheppard, and a since-departed Jason Demers. (Also stick around for a cameo by Brenden Dillon.)
Here is “Holiday Sweater,” boyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Aside from Nieto’s big block of cheese, you just cannot help but notice the infectious enthusiasm displayed by Hertl. Fun must always, he says, and as you can see he brought his A game for the video shoot. Just look at him!

Please never leave us, Tomas.
Another thing you may have caught is the absence of some holiday video regulars. No Patrick Marleau. No Brent Burns. No Joe Pavelski. No Logan Couture. No Joe Thornton and Slappy! Wonder why they weren't asked or declined to participate. Hmmm.
Finally, if there's one thing you take away from all this, let it be Barking John Scott:
