Riley Sheahan walks Maple Leafs defense ... twice, doesn't score

Riley Sheahan, you're looking really good in this nationally televised #rivalrynight game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. You haven't scored ... yet, but you had some pretty incredible moves around defenders. Major s/t to Steph for these.

Note the first move, a between-the-legs play on Morgan Rielly in the first period:

The second on Jake Gardiner in the second period:

A word to the wise -- don't ever bet against the Red Wings when it comes to developing players. I did, and clearly I'm being burned.

Sheahan is part of a young core that includes Tomas Tatar, Gustav Nyquist and Danny DeKeyser. This group looks like it will gladly take the torch handed from the likes of Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg. It's a team that coach Mike Babcock (maybe the best free agent this upcoming offseason) has said is his best group since 2009.
