• A few of the Phoenix Coyotes visited the NHL offices in New York City today, including Paul Bissonnette(notes), who had this photo op with Commissioner Gary Bettman. NHL licensed speedos will soon be on store shelves. [@BizNasty2Point0]

Preview: Nashville Predators at New Jersey Devils, 7 p.m. ET. The Devils have won consecutive games just once this season and will be looking to increase that number to two as the Predators visit Prudential Center. Coming off a 3-0 shutout of the Phoenix Coyotes on Wednesday night, the Devils face a Predators team coming in on a four-game winning streak. Watch this game via the Y! Sports FREE live stream in the US.

Preview: Detroit Red Wings at Chicago Blackhawks, 8:30 p.m. ET. Chicago will honor Chris Chelios(notes) tonight as two of his former teams do battle. A loss by the Blackhawks would mean a season-high fourth straight loss for Chicago. Jimmy Howard(notes) starts tonight in place of Chris Osgood(notes), who was originally slated for the game, but will attempt to earn his 400th NHL win Sunday at home.

Preview: Ottawa Senators at Colorado Avalanche, 9 p.m. ET. With a hat trick on Wednesday night, Tomas Fleischmann's(notes) totals since becoming a member of Avalanche are five goals and five assists in seven games. Not bad for a guy who was struggling earlier this season with Washington. Colorado comes into tonight's game with the Senators looking to extend their four-game winning streak, while the Senators try to win consecutive games for the first time since early November. Puck Buddy Comment of the Day: By "A Yahoo User" on Bourne's Coyotes post:

"Disclosure: I live in Winnipeg. I have never been to Phoenix.

A plea: Start showing up and support the @#$% thing. Make it worth the heart ache felt by my home town when the team left. Make the whole experiment worth it by showing up. Buy the jerseys. Put Doan on the back. Take the shuttle. Buy the beer. Then cheer.

Everyone is sick of Winnipeggers griping. Everyone is tired of Arizona's apathy. Do us and yourselves a favour and sit in the stands. Honour where your team came from and where it's headed.

P.S. And when you get that fan base stable, do the right thing and change that Coyotes Hawerchuk #10 hanging in your rafters to a Jets jersey. He didn't play one game in your colours. I know of no worse jersey foul."

Bold Prediction: Nashville and Colorado both post shutouts.
