Watching a broadcaster get hit in the head with a puck – at least when the broadcaster ends up being OK – is hockey physical humor at its finest.

Obviously the most important thing is that the person who gets hit isn't hurt, but once he or she gets up, dusts him or herself off, we all laugh and joke.

Behold Predators radio broadcaster Willy Daunic getting smacked in the head by a puck at the morning skate before Nashville’s game against St. Louis on Tuesday at Bridgestone Arena. It appears Daunic was filming some sort of game preview at the time.

That was a loud THUD!

That looked painful. But note how Daunic cracks a brief grin as color analyst, and legendary hockey enforcer, Stu Grimson tries to cup Daunic's head like an egg. Stu, it's your job to protect!

It appears that the video was done while a select group of Blues were skating. So the culprit is, wait is that Marty Brodeur behind them? Oh who knows.

Daunic continued to tweet after the incident and did the radio broadcast for Tuesday's game.
