Kalamazoo Wings to ring in New Year with tuxedo jerseys (Photo)

The ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings have jumped head first into the holiday season. This past Saturday, they beat the Toledo Walleye 2-1 at Fifth Third Field in the league’s first ever outdoor game. On Wednesday, they'll ring in 2015 in style. Really in style.

When the Wings face off with the Cincinnati Cyclones in their 13th annual New Year’s Eve game, the players will be dressed for the occasion. Not just in hockey equipment; but looking quite dapper in these tuxedo jerseys:

After the game fans can skate on the ice and mingle with players. Also, according to the Wings, there will even be keg curling! Sadly, there likely won't be anything like that at Nationals Park on Thursday.

We would have loved to have to seen some champagne glass shoulder patches, but there's always next year. The team says the jerseys will be auctioned off at a later date.
